My results just came in and by just glancing at it things look kinda normal to me. I have to go over them deeper of course but I was expecting some out-of-wack numbers since I wasn't the most healthy eater and lil' exercise. I should also mention that on Monday when I went to have my blood drawn, I had a cold and inflamed tonsils (per my doc a few days before) Oh well, here it goes:

Looks good to me. How much did you pay if i may ask?

Hey, I was reading through some of the threads this week and noticed somebody here offers testing as well. Is this only for men? (It was in one of the male threads). What I had done, is this a thorough test?

It's not like I'm disappointed in my results, but I swear I thought I could pinpoint something I could improve on or fix since I'm on the road to complete fitness.

Hmmm, my weight this morning is 178.8...down a few pounds already.

My BMI is 28

I use a fitness log/site at fitday.com to track/log my food and stats. Looking over my log, I've managed to remain under 1400 cal this week.

I started taking a multi-vitamin last week (Total Balance Women's Premium from Xtendlife).

I also just started taking Tri-EFA from Pure Encapsulations a few days ago (as well as Memory Pro and Cognitive Aminos for brain power since I'm a student and all).
And my Nutra-Flax from Pure Encapsulations just arrived this week as well.

I power walk on the treadmill twice this week so far...my goal is to build up to running 3 times a week.

I use the John Basdow Fitness Made Simple routine for my lifting-with-weights regimen twice a week as well...I'd like to build that up to 3 times a week and add more reps (probably get heavier weights as well).

What am I missing? Any suggestions?

Oh snap! I just realized I hadn't taken any pictures yet! I want to document my transformation. I'll get my daughter to take some later on and I'll post before and after pics in a few months or so (when I'm looking absolutely FANTABULOUS!

I just got the Iron Gym and some heavier weights today. I feel my muscles forming...can't wait until it all comes together.

Keep your log going, it will help you look back to see what worked and what didn't work. While you are on Fitday you should also track your food so you can see your calorie intake as opposed to what you are burning.

While cardio is good, get working on those weights, the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn doing everyday things.

Yes, I'm increasing my weight workout today. How often and how long can I work out without overdoing it? I thought I'd increase my weight workout to 5 times a week for an hour. Is this too much?

and you know what, it's the funniest thing but I know that my body has changed somewhat over the past few weeks because my clothes fit differently - they're much looser. But I'm scared to step on the scale...I want to see low 170s or 160s when I step on, but I know I gained some muscle which weighs more than fat so I'm gonna skip the scale at least until next week.

I tracked my weight the same day each week, just so I know what I am doing right and wrong and what worked and didn't work. I don't think you put on a significant amount of muscle in a week to skew the scale, lol
If 5 days a week works for you then go for it, just make sure you are getting enough rest and all that good stuff.

Also after you pee in the morning check your weight then ....never mid day! that's what I do....in the morning I get on the scale to see and then after I pee I'm always 1 pound lighter..only check once a week too!! Good luck!

Yes, I would never weigh myself mid-day... thanks babe!
