if it is E causing my redness would the dim work quickly?

I think it will work fast but like I said get your E2 Estradiol checked first with a blood test before taking anything. I was very high and got it down taking Arimidex 1/2 of a one mg. pill everyday for a month. It was the 3rd. week that my problems started going away. So if your high and you want it down fast go with the Arimidex then switch to the Indolplex/DIM to keep it down you want your E2 levels between 20 to 35. I feel better around 20 to 25.
