Natty Baseline Bloods

Hi All,

I am currently natural, but have been thinking about trying out a test-only cycle. I've done a preliminary set of labs, just to assess my baseline and make sure there are no red flags that would completely prevent me from doing this experiment. The end result was a bit shocking, in that blood values and general health indicators were all normal, but my sex hormone panel left much to be desired.

I've listed my main sex hormone values below, and would appreciate any feedback on what you make of this and any advice as to next steps. I've seen an endocrinologist/andrologist but the values are technically within range and I am relatively young so they refuse to investigate further.

- Total test: 2.57 ng/ml
- SHBG: 20.9 nmol/l
- FSH: 2.5 miu/ml
- LH: 2.4 miu/ml
- E2: 30 pg/ml
- Prolactin: 24.2 ug/l

Thank you for any help in advance.

Follow their advice or get ready for complications.

Who's advice? If you are referring to the endo, their stance is that as long as values are mostly above the low-end of the normal range used by the lab (which does not take age into account) they won't even run follow-up tests or analyze test results I bring them, as this qualifies as normal per the prevailing medical standards. Hardly what I would call advice.

I'm in my early-thirties and my test, shbg, fsh, and lh are all at the absolute bottom end of the range without having touched any suppressive substances, which I think is cause for concern; unless there is a benign explanation which I would be grateful to hear.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I am really hoping to receive at least some high-level feedback on this issue, which I am seemingly unable to get from the healthcare system that is accessible to me. I recognize that a forum is far down the list of ideal sources for this, but at this stage I am highly appreciative of all data points until I can find a more helpful medical professional.

What is your age?

Why were these labs done?

Who ordered these tests?

What medications are you taking??

Who as is you or a HCP …… no names.

That being said, if you joined Meso to justify and gain access to self prescribed “TRT” you’re wasting my time.

- Very early 30's
- As stated in the initial post, was done to establish baseline values in preparation for a first test-only cycle. This plan is now on hold indefinitely, given the results.
- Used a private lab and relied on advice from the lab technician, as well as online resources.
- No medications/aas, taking basic vitamins (D3, K2, Zinc, Magnesium, etc) and creatine
