Nebivolol dosage (Do I need very little?)

Hello Meso

I just started Nebivolol to help with RHR and it’s hearth protective property.

I’m doing 2.5mg AM empty stomach with 40mg Telmisartan and 5mg Cialis.

My RHR drops from 65-70 to 50-60. I even get to 47 sleeping.

Should I go to 1.25mg? Or is a Beta Blocker just not needed for me? Would like to do it for all its benefits.

Between 55-70 is being optimal I think, considering that most cohort studies found an increased rate of death at above 70 and below 50 if I remember correctly.

If you feel like your rhr is too low then just go back to 1.25mg. That's still fine and will benefit you long term.

Telmisartan amlodipine works great. Also losartan works even better on me but I take the first combo because of the added benefits.

I'm trying to research what's the difference between telmisartan/amlodipine Vs telmisartan/nebivolol

Amlodipine is a calcium beta blocker and nebivolol is a very selective beta blocker, shouldn't the latter being "better" and have less side effect?
