Need help with lower outer chest

The more I develope my chest the more I am getting what looks like a 'V' shape. It is getting thicker and fuller across the top but only the center area is getting bigger on the bottom. When I flex it looks hollow to the sides of my nipples towards the outside. I also notice that I don't feel soreness in that area after working chest.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This has worked for me : decline bench either straight bar or db's . I switch it up a little. Also overhead dbs laying horizontal to bench , shoulders on bench , we're the magic happens is at the very top when the dumbbell is directly vertical to your chest an then squeeze the shit out of it it on every rep. Then get you some weighted dips in .

Did you go to Helix lol I see people doing the vertical leg press on the smith machine all the time. Just waiting for that bar to come crashing down, its bound to happen
 
Helix no, are you kidding about people doing them on smith mch. Ha ha h a ha no way , ours was built buy some tuff some of bitch , well thats what keep you going , it even looked tuff, I can't even count how many times I've puked afterwards not to mention watching everybody lose it

It doesnt count unless you puke, thats why you gotta have a puke bucket handy

Can you explain this movement? I can not picture how to do overhead while laying on a bench.
 
For me that part of the chest only really pops out when I get very lean. Lots of muscle there but fat just covers it it may be the same with you

No, it actually feels like there is nothing there. No fat or muscle. I will try and get a pic.
Now that I look at the picture, I lied there is fat but I am 53yo so everyone should give me some slack.

I remember back in the 80's every gym had a seated pullover machine. I haven't seen one in years. There must be a warehouse full of them somewhere. I had done them in the past positioned perpendicular to a flat bench with just my shoulders on the bench and ass lower. I think I will start doing them again. Thanks for the tip.

No problem , they even help your core muscles, great exercise
