ok so i jst posted a forum lookin for some trainin ideas, but now i have ran into a new problem, i just fractured my thumb, and for some ridiculous reason, they have me in a full arm cast practically, it goes up to about 6 inches from my elbow, i sure as hell dont wanna stop lifting for the 6 weeks im suppose to have this damn cast on, so i need some ideas on things i can do to continue working out...its on my right arm, but i dont wanna just start working my left side out, so it continues to get stronger while my right side stays the same, the left side is already stronger as is....so anyone got some ideas?!

Don't know what to tell you, I just had to take off for 6 weeks cuz of my right knee, now when I work out theres still something not right with my knee. So they might do surgery now, will know on Monday. That means even more time off for my legs.

First, let me say that I hope you both a speedy recovery....truly sucks about your knee RM, I had mine scoped about ten years ago and it still freaks out and tries to imitate a football every now and then.
And GF, there is alot of research in bi-lateral incorporation out there. Basically, the studies have shown (for instance) that if you work your right bicep, the left one will be stimulated as well. Personally, I would think that six weeks out of the gym would not be a HUGE deal....you could always work on your cardio or flexibility or something....but if you HAVE to keep lifting then you will be ok to just work around that arm. Any disparity in size/strength can quickly be rectified with an appropriate training protacol...sounds like it's something you would benefit from anyway if one is already stronger than the other (if there is a significant disparity then you have a time bomb on your hands...speaking from experience here bro)

Good luck to both of you,

Stay in the gym bro..be creative..you can do some leg exercises for sure,abs,cardio..use a partner in the gym to help you.
