Need weight loss advice

Hey so I'll get the stats out of the way first I'm 21 206 lbs 5'8 I'm far from lean but it's certainly not all fat I'm built real wide and stocky my only issue is my flabby stomach so I'll get to the point I'm almost done with week two of test prop 150 EOD and winny 50mg ED and I've been taken in 1400 cals daily and have only dropped two pounds, what's the deal with that I thought I'd drop a good amount first week or two

How much did you think you were going to lose in such a short amount of time?

1400 sounds WAY too low.

Agreed. Two lbs a week is a pretty solid pace of weight loss.
Also agree that your calories are way too low, especially on gear.

I understand 2 lbs is solid for a week but usually first week you lost a bunch of water weight and come close to 4-5 pounds a week . And my metabolism is so slow that 1400 honestly is where I need to be to for weight loss, also doesn't test make you incapable of going catabolic?

Test isn't magic. You still have to eat a reasonable amount of calories. You are 208 lbs- not exactly a 1400 calorie waif.

Water will always fluctuate. Eat a high carb meal and gain a few pounds. That doesn't matter. You're trying to lose fat. Focus on that.

How do I focus solely on losing fat , it's hard to tell when my scale is all over the place from water weight when I'm eating clean everyday and lifting hard you know man . It's tough for me

If you need to be at 1400cal for weight loss, something is wrong. What is your bodyfat % ?

Test does not prevent you from going catabolic. You will still lose muscle if you're in a severe deficit.

1400 cal... Have fun with all that. Like, 200gr protein, 100gr carbs and 20gr fat... I'm going to have lunch now, which is going to equate to 3/4 of your daily intake lol.

Patience grass hopper. It takes time. Don't weigh yourself everyday. Once a week, at the same time. Track if for a month and then see where you're going. At 1400 calories you're losing muscle

There could be any number of things at play here.

You could be underestimating calories
You could be a lot fatter than you think
You could be a lot more sedentary then you think

Or all of the above.

The fact is you need "1400" calories (and I put that in speech marks for a reason) to cut. So that's what you need to do.

That's the bottom line, from the information we have available.

My body fat I'd estimate to be 21-23% at most , maybe a little lower only spot I have fat is really my gut everywhere is pretty solid . I guess idk what my calories should be for fat loss
