needles on the plane?

Just wondering if any body has any experience w/ bringing needles on the plane? Obviously my concern is getting through the security check point. Here's what I was thinking. reconstituting the growth and taking the label off the vial. The pins are diabetic needles, so I thought if I was questioned I could just tell them it's my diabetes medication. What do you think? Any body have any experience with this? Thanks Bro's.

I've traveled many times with pinz and never had a problem yet. Carry them in your carry on items, I would have a script container for the other stuff you may be carrying just in case they get nosy, it will look like a script..
But you should be fine...

Hey bro, when i went on a business trip i took my gear with me too, but i put them in my checkin bags. I put my pinz and gear in my shaving bag. I had no problem and i think that would be best for you. I wouldn't carry on your gear or your needles. that is just my .02 cents.

i've done it many times, not a big deal. i always make sure to twist the pins off the syringes to make them less conspicuous. and i always keep them in my shaving kit. make 100% sure they don't have any other reason to search you and you're good. and a tip - if you have any reason to have lighters on you - make sure you have no more than 2. i walked through one time and got ripped apart because my bag had 3 lighters in it.

Thanks bro's, I appreciate the info. I wasn't planning on checking a bag in, but maybe it's the safest way. Otherwise I'll just throw everything in my shaving bag. The pins I use are for sub-q injections and are diabetic needles so the actual needle doesn't come off. I've got a week or so to think about it. Glad to hear that some of you have taken your gear w/ you w/ no problems. It put me at ease. Looks like I won't have to go with out the growth for 4 days
