New guy looking for advice

Hello guys and gals,

After over 10 years in the trucking industry, my body has taken a toll on me and I plan on changing my health habits and my overall well-being not just for myself but for my family. A little about myself, I was born here in America and was raised overseas until the age of 17. Got my CDL License by the time I was 18 and started a trucking company at the age of 21. I am turning 33 next month and I couldn't be happier with my life. Sold my company earlier this year for a few million and was able to buy my dream car (S550 Coupe) and a fully paid off house. All this was possible through hard work and determination. I plan on pursuing my fitness goals and working my ass off 110% to reach my goals as I did with the success of my business. I have a boy and a girl and they mean the world to me.

Bio:
Age: 32
Height: 5'9
Body weight: 220
Body Fat: Possibly around 20-25% (I have a decently sized gut)

Fitness Goals:
I've been back in the gym for about a few months now, doing cardio for about 45 minutes then hitting the weights. I've dropped from 240 to 220 and I've reached a plateau ever since. I'm on a very strict diet and I'm actually on a calorie deficit intake diet. I want to drop to 200 and I haven't done much research but I plan on running an ECA Stack. A buddy of mine introduced me to this as he's seen very good results.

Another friend recommended taking Anavar for cutting as it works with a caloric deficit. 60mg everyday for 6 weeks and running Nolvadex for PCT for 4 weeks at 40/20/20/20. Would this be ideal?

You may want to start a thread in the nutrition subforum to get some advice on your diet. You likely have to drop calories further now that you've stalled out. I also recommend lifting first and then doing cardio.

Also, do not do an anavar only cycle. Test only is what you want but it is too soon for it. If you do go for it, I strongly advise against anavar only.

Welcome to Meso. Forget about any Aas right now. Take a full year and build a diet and training foundation first man. Then once you have achieve fat loss naturally a stable training program. Start to look at using Aas after. GL
 
Although I agree with @CdnGuy. If you do decide to push forward. Please get your blood work done. There are some great threads on the topic. A lot of great info around here actually. So at least a few months worth of research couldn't hurt right. Good luck and happy lifting.

Even messing with an ECA stack at this point probably isn't necessary. If you aren't losing more weight it's because you need to do more activity/burn more calories, and/or eat less.

Even if you keep doing the exact same stuff you're doing right now your plateau will most likely fade. Sometimes the body just stalls until it gets used to the new composition
 
Welcome. You will need to do some cardio. If you choose to run test, keep the dosage low, 300mg ew. With a high bf% estradiol will be a problem, so use an AL or nolva with the cycle. Get a complete physical before starting.
