Hey Meso!
I’m currently a 33 year old man, 5’11, 230Lbs, around 18%BF..
I first got into the juice when I was 23 through a friend that was very into it and got his pro card a few years back. So I trusted the gear and the advice and went for it.. “time to get into the best shape of my life” and boy did I..
My first ever cycle was 300mg Test E a week, pinning 150mg 2x/week IM for 12 weeks.. Aaand, Dbol 25mg a day for 10weeks…
I learned later 10weeks of dbol probably wasn’t a good idea. But I turned out fine.. I think.. lol
With that cycle I gained 35Lbs, which after pct I lost 10lbs.. I was off for 8 months and kept the same weight of around 220 for that time..
I’ve done a handful cycles since of test@300mg/week. And a 6week dbol kickstart.
I did try anavar for 1 cycle but it did not agree with me.. Which makes me think it was maybe something else.. But everyone is different..
I haven’t touched anything in about 5 years now and was out of the gym 3 of those years with a physically demanding job and fighting some mental and life issues.. Although I’ve always been researching health/fitness & Gear. As I enjoy learning and seeing the progress of it all through the years.. And I land here quite often.
But I’ve been back at it for about a year now, lost about 7%BF and got my muscle memory gains back and strength.. and thought about getting into it again.. It makes everything better honestly.
I’m probably too old to get into anything competitive. But the Quality of life from being on and the mental space I’m in when I’m on is absolutely incredible and beneficial not only to me but those around me. I’m more engaging, confident, stoic, higher energy, strong, balanced and think way more clearly. And that’s mostly who I am anyway.. But being on really brings all those things out in such a great way, and makes me feel like myself. I’m not on anything except food and a coffee for pre workout these days.
I thought I’d throw some of what I lift in here because this is part of the whole picture..
I currently:
Bench: 225/6repsx5sets
Row/pull up: 240/6repsx4sets
Squat: 315/5repsx5sets
Leg press: 680/8reps/4sets
And plenty of accessories but those are the main lifts. I don’t really go for 1-2 rep lifts.. I stay around the 4-6..
Well, I hope my introduction wasn’t too long and you got to know a bit about me and my gym/gear side of life. I look forward to the continued research and possible discussions. If you have any questions ask away I’m a pretty open guy.
Cheers guys!
