Hi. 50 year old male. 171 cm, 80 kgs.

Background:

Gym: I started lifting heavy about 12 years ago, and got into powerlifting and got pretty strong (for a 40+ year old guy). I had to stop about 2 years ago because I underwent a heart surgery for aortic valve replacement (I had a congenital defect which went undiagnosed for years). Since then, I have had serious back pains (degenerative disk disease, it seems) and so have not been able to do anything I really wanted to do for about the last two years. As a result, I have lost muscle and gained fat.

Drugs:

I started on TRT about 10 years ago under doctor supervision. But the doctor was not very good, and I did not take HCG until I was advised to do so over the last year, so my testes have shrunk significantly. I also just started on retatrutide about a month ago. I had used/abused ephedrine for about 30 years but quit due to the heart surgery. My heart is in mild heart failure, and so I am very

Goals:

I would love to get back to being strong and healthy and not feeling like I have a dad bod. The retatrutide has been helping me a lot with this. I have made better progress over the last month than I have over the last 2 years despite putting in a lot less effort. Strangely, despite being in a caloric deficit, I am getting stronger.

My main goal is to get as lean as I can, and as athletic as I can. I guess also, vanity - I just want to look good to myself. Yes, I want to have visible abs (which I kind of had at the peak of my health, but I never had really clear lower abs).

My hopes for Meso-Rx:

I am thinking about adding HGH, TB500, GHK-Cu to my drug regimen. I would like to understand other people's experiences with these drugs, understand the best practices for these drugs, and of course, find good sources.

I dunno what more I can say or should say. Please let me know.

Appreciate you sharing, man. Sounds like you’ve been through a lot, and it’s impressive you’re still pushing forward and thinking long-term about your health and fitness. That kind of resilience goes a long way.

Retatrutide sounds like it’s really working for you — especially with the strength gains while in a deficit. That’s a great sign your body’s starting to respond again.

Adding HGH, TB500, and GHK-Cu could make sense given your goals. HGH could help with fat loss and maintaining lean mass, while TB500 and GHK-Cu might support recovery, inflammation, and overall healing — especially with your back and history of surgery. Just be mindful of how your heart responds, and take it slow.

Sounds like you’re on the right track. Glad you’re here — this place can be a solid resource for learning and fine-tuning your approach.

Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it.
