Hi last year i found out i had stupid low test, like 68ng/dl. I have been taking 100mg test cyp a week, was every 2 weeks for a while.

I recently started lurking everywhere and a friend gave me some deca. After looking into it i did a very short and low mg "cycle" or low mg "blast"? If you can call 200mg test cyp and 100mg of deca a week a "blast"

I have started lifting again now that i feel okay, i lost 10 lbs and gained 1/2 inch everywhere during the last month, which isnt a lot but i can tell a difference in body composition and strength.

My bloodwork looks good, shbg at 30, free test at 430, total test 2300, estrogen 90(though this wasnt ultrasensitive assay as i asked for), though my insulin resistance shows 77 my sugar has been fine. My ldl was 108 but overall cholesterol was good. I didnt fast before bloodwork so idk how accurate everything is. Iv felt great with very little side effects which is to be expected at low levels of AAS.

Anyways im totally new to the scene and glad to be here. Im interested in safely doing compounds occasionally and am still not sold on "peptides" or sarms. Iv thought of using some sarms in the past but from what iv read its better to just use AAS if im gonna do anything other than testosterone.

Oh im 35 and 6'2 and weigh 205
 
More test… like 500 mgs.
Well i am gonna stay on my trt dose or just slightly over until i get my bloodwork donee at dr and wait until he says we can test it every 3 or 6 months, hoping this next test comes back w no issues. No insulin resistance being high, as he wanted to put me on metformin but fuck that, my glucose has been normal and insulin resistance was just up due to the extra gear i was running. Also i didmt fast before testing and he forgot to test my a1c which i feel he had no business trying to give me metformin without checking everything n just going off insulin resistance. I started taking NAC to help with insulin and other issues and think im gonna add in cinnamon bark as well.

But when i can do another blast ill think about going up to 400mg of test. 400 would be double what i ran with very low deca for a month. I could run 200mg deca with it as well, or i may try just high test alone. Im on trt for low t, at 100mg a week it had my total t at like 1300 and my free t at 320 or so, id like to not kill my HPTA much faster than i already am. But i guess really if im gonna be on test for the rest of my life i may as well accept its gonna happen right? I just know looking at my levels i respond pretty well to test at just 100mg a week and heard use the minimum necessary dose for results starting out.

Why do you recommend 500mg test a week?

400 mgs is what a lot of guys, including myself, like to cruise on. During my offseason, I will taper all the way down to 250 mgs per week to reset everything.
500 mgs test will not fuck with your Hpta as bad as the deca alone will. If your on deca like that, and expect your blood work to be cleared out for the doctor to test your bloods it ain’t going to happen quickly. Deca has a long half-life and can linger around affecting blood work for many weeks. NPP would be a better choice. Start thinking about it in total milligrams rather than compound vs compound. The stronger the compound the less mgs you need to get a positive affect. On that low of a dose it really won’t affect the potential to get diabetes like bad diet choices would.

You think 4 weeks deca should be at least mostly cleared from my system and not show too much on a blood test as extra testosterone? And 100mg of deca a week is basically the lowest possible dose to get results, 50mg a week from what i understand is okay for joint pain but wont have much anabolic effects. You got me thinking about just running a high test cycle and leaving deca out next cycle and seeing how that goes. I dont wanna use NPP because id rather not have to pin more than once a week if i can help it

I have been working on eating better, trying to make whole grain rice and vegetables and greek yogurt and eggs and tuna a staple of my diet and avoiding any soda or sweet cakes and anything with trans fats or shit with high amounts of added sugars and fried/processed foods. While also trying to lower carbohydrate intake.
 
The problem is we all need more food to grow, but the food is a form of stress due to the fact we need to process it, extract what we need and then get rid of the rest. That’s a lot of work for the body. Meal timing will be another important aspect to work with. I don’t mean every 2 hours eat, I would focus on the pre/intra/post meals and timing them appropriately. Post workout within 10 minutes of ending. This meal is by far the most important. Take something like like lipoid acid post workout to increase insulin sensitivity to help shuttle the refueling process. Vitamin A,C and E in good amounts within 1 hour before begging your workout.
NPP 100 1 time per week would be just fine.
 
Wow I was thinking of doing a blast of 300 mg's a week, That's crazy people cruise on more than that
