New to site....

I may be in the wrong site overall, considering I am in the USAPL which is drug-free, and overall I am not for them. However, I love to talk training/
weights with anyone, so I hope you don't mind me staying on;)!

I am a 27 yr old mom of 2 (Ages 6, and nearly 4). Just did my 1st PL competition on Nov. 10th... it was great!!

I am just over 5" tall, and weighed in at 112.9 lbs. Trained for about 6 wks. Have lifted for last couple of years, but nothing heavy. More for tone than anything.

My lifts were----

SQ--
Opened @ 125--Good
145--Good
Attempt @ 170 but was barely 3/4" too high.

BE-- (My weakest link.)
Opened @ 85--Good
100--Miss
100--Good. (Didn't want to co-operate, but it went up!!)

DL--(Strongest lift overall)
Opened @ 190--Good
210--Good
230-- Good Probably could've had 240, maybe 245.

Looking forward to training for more meets, perhaps trying to crossover/with bodybuilding. I have a good muscle base. My BF is somewhere between 14-16%, not exactly sure. I have decent ab def. Starting to see individual muscles in quads. Definate back definition!

Biceps measure about 13", calves are 14.5" or so, thighs are 21", waist is 26-27".

Well, I look forward to getting ideas and meeting people in PL/Bodybuilding Comm.

Nice lifting. It's good to see women in powerlifting. It's actually a sport I see more and more women are getting into.
What's your training like? What exactly do you do?
 
Welcome aboard Jala! Those are some great numbers you've posted for a natural female athlete!
Congratulations and keep up the good spirit! :D
 
those seem like fantastic lifts ... keep it up - i think i need to start training harder - someones catching up to me lol
