What's up guys I'm new here just wanted to introduce myself im a 26 year old male looking to start my first cycle in the next month or two heard this was the best place to start so here I am! Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

6'1 170 I was curious on what a good first cycle would be and what compound I should run with test? Ive heard mixed things some people saying to do a small cycle with test and something else and I've also heard people say that you keep a lot of your gains with your first cycle more then any other so to use that to your advantage and run a few compounds with test..your thoughts?

Keeping is tough to quantify, but you will usually gain more absolute lean mass in the first cycle than others (if done right).

You need to be at the right spot on the gains curve, you aren't there for your height yet.

I just weighed myself I'm actually 188 since you don't recommend running gear till 200 is there any supplements or ideas you have that I can get myself properly to 200? Obviously eating pop tarts and junk probally isn't the route to go, but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

It's more about having your diet right to get and keep maximum gains then it is about a target weight to start at. Figure out your macros for bulking,maintaining,cutting and you'll be good

Steak and potatoes, chicken and rice, eggs and oats

Start with just 6 meals a day, eat every two hours. Shoot for like 7oz meat per meal and say 1-2 cups of rice or potatoes per meal. Drink intra elite during your workout. Eat a shit load of carbs post workout like a few cups of cereal and two scoops of whey
 
Sorry for the late reply guys just got back from vacation thank you for all the replies..I started a new diet last week I'm eating 5 meals a day should I be eating more?

Meal 1 5 eggs and oatmeal
Meal 2 protein shake handful of almonds and a piece of fruit
Meal 3 9 ounces chicken or steak and a salad
Meal 4 7 ounces of chicken and a small salad
Meal 5 5 eggs and oatmeal protein bar

I also have another protein bar usually between meals 3 and 4 or 4 and 5

When I decide to run gear I'm gonna get more strict with my diet and up the protein I figured this plan wouldn't be good enough while running anabolics, but if you guys think different please let me know I need all the help I can get and I greatly appreciate everyone's feedback thank you for the replies!

Yea that's the biggest problem is the carbs I literally have no rice or potatoes in the plan maybe toss the salad and add rice instead and eat a baked potato instead of the almonds? Is 5 meals enough?
 
If you're trying to grow let's do this

Meal 1:4 WHOLE EGGS, 1 CUP EGG WHITES, 1CUP OATS MEASURED DRY

Meal 2 IF YOU WANT THIS TO BE A SHAKE LET'S DO 2 SCOOPS WHEY, 2TBSP PEANUT BUTTER, 1 CUP OATS, 3OZ BLUEBERRIES IN A BLENDER WITH SOME WATER

Meal 3 9 ounces chicken or steak and 10OZ SWEET POTATO

Meal 4 7 ounces of chicken and 2 CUPS JASMINE RICE

Meal 5 3 WHOLE EGGS COOKED IN 1/2TBSP COCONUT OIL, 1 CUP EGG WHITES, 1/2 CUP OATS MEASURED DRY


eat that, train hard, you'll grow from where you are now
 
Perfect thanks bro I appreciate it... I just picked up everything I need and I'll start the new plan you revised tomorrow, can I follow this same protocol on cycle or do I need to add more carbs and protein? I think I'm gonna start a cycle in 2 weeks I should be around 195 by that point
 
Yea good idea adding a little fruit can never hurt is there any benefits a certain fruit has over another say apples over oranges or is it pretty much all the same?

The best fruit for recovery in my opinion that I've seen results with is coconut water that will replenish your electrolights lost during your workout or cardio days, implement berries like blueberrys, raspberrys, cranberrys and such. You can put those in your shakes and buy them frozen.

Add some red meat to meal 1,ditch the salads and go with real greens. Kale,spinach,ect,don't weigh anything,,,just frickin eat like you want it.its a long and twisted road.
