Hey everyone. I'm new to this site... New to forums in general actually lol. I have a pretty decent knowledge of exercise science and I'm looking forward to learning new things as well as helping others.

I'm also looking into a first cycle. I have never done one before and would be interested to know more about what one could expect, where to acquire, intensity of training required on cycle, if/by how much protein intake should change and other useful info!


Like I said I'm interested in obtaining some stuff so feel free to message!

I've be consistently lifting for 2 years. Before that it was about 4 but I didn't know much about lifting. I would hit the gym and just lift like crazy. I took a year off and then started more seriously. When I say consistently I mean tracking my progress and being strict with various dieting methods. I've tried IIFYM, Keto, sloppy bulk, and calorie counting. Always count my calories.

Currently I'm cutting. Eating a lot of chicken breast, tons of leafy greens, berryies every morning, sweet potatoes and rice. Also lots of walnuts for those phytosterols and healthy fats. I'm trying to get a lot of fiber in and keep sat fat down to lower cholesterol. I have naturally high cholesterol so i want to get that down before I start a cycle, or do you think I don't have 2 worry about it?

No blood work yet.

Right now I'm taking at about 2000 calories(I know this isn't exact for my weight) at 180lbs 5'9'' probably about 15-20%bf. My abs are barely showing. The rest of my body is very well toned.

I hit the gym 6 days a week and I'm trying out Arnold's blueprint to cut workouts on bodybuilding.com and that's killing me.

I'd like to cut down to 10%BF but I don't really want to wait to get on cycle. Is this a bad idea or no?


Goal is 190lbs 8-10%BF
 
I'm thinking about a test only cycle for first time. I don't want 2 say anything incriminating so I'll just say I'm still considering it lol. Not sure what to do about PCT. Don't want my nuts 2 shut down or get gyno.
 
Welcome to meso bro. You're in the best spot around to learn this all.

Look at the stickies in the pct subforum. Great starting point, and some great info on ester considerations in the comprehensive guide.

Also, start reading all of the articles on the home page. There's no reason not to get through all of them. Information is your friend in this game. Tits+ cock is not a great look.
