Non-customs government agency hold

Have an order from an overseas via UPS currently being held in Ontario, CA by a non-customs government agency. It was sent June 25th and has been on this hold since July 4th. Ive ordered from this sources dozens of times before this without any problems but always used DHL and not UPS. My source told me that DHL was not accepting liquid packages bound for the US during that time period, probably because of tighter security restrictions due to the 4th of July. But I also found out recently that June 26th was the international day against drug abuse illicit trafficking too... So basically im wondering if anyone has any input or experience with a non-customs agency hold and what it is and what to expect next. its not something in vials so there is a chance it will come but im not going to accept it.

Yeah my friend had the same thing happen to him and after he got a letter from the DEA saying if he didnt provide them with a license saying he could have it then they were seizing it. then about a month later he got a friendly courtesy knock from 2 homeland security officers and a dozen DEA agents in full gear. they didnt have a warrent, it was just a show of force trying to intimidate him, he wasnt home at the time but, they gave his girlfriend a number for him to call and said if they order anymore of what they did they would be getting their door kicked down next time. he talked to an attorney and they said not to call the number and he didnt. nothing ever happened but im sure they have his ass under a microscope now. When his girlfriend was talking to them they knew everything about him, all his numbers emails, everything. so dont ever think that what your doing is to small time to show up on the radar because it does and theyll pursue it. The DEA has a bottomless bank account
