Non sterile bottletop filters

What is everyone approach to sterilising these. Can’t for the life of me find sterile PP housing filters.

I remember reading someone runs alcohol through them, then runs a bunch of oil through, then runs solution through but i cant see that as a good idea.

Surely someone has to have a answer, there isn’t any sterile pp housing filters anywhere

eh depending on the plastic heat it for 200f for a hour.

If you’ve got an autoclave or pressure cooker this is probably the most effective method. I Wrap it in foil and sterilise a couple with all my glassware. Sometimes I drop one or something dumb so I put 2-3 lol. I also wrap a pair of stainless steel tweezers in there so I can grab it without touching it with my dirty ass fingers and that keeps it nice and sterile.
