nose cauterization

Anyone have any experience getting their noses cauterized? I got my nose embolization done I wasn’t keeping on top of my blood pressure and diet. I was having constant nose bleeds and they got gradually worse until I ended up in the icu for 9 days.I was running 80mg of telmisartan. Doctors are telling me next thing I can do is get my nose cauterized. They did embolization but I’m still having complications.

I’ve had it done bilaterally. ENT doc does it in the office. They only do one side at a time though (something related to blood flow to the septum). Haven’t had a nosebleed since. Totally worth it.
