I've had this account for a while just lurking but never made an introduction thread.

I'm in my late 30s now, about 5 years ago after a couple year long back and forth with a ton of different doctors and specialists discovered I had a pituitary adenoma that was suppressing hormones and I started becoming very ill. After about a year on TRT I felt better than I'd ever felt before, and 5 years on at this point looking back it has completely changed my life, I went from a complete shell of a person on the brink of ending my life to a happy, healthy, productive and confident person I never thought I could be. I did start TRT with an endo but after a couple years doing research found that I was able to handle this easier myself, which led me to this forum. I have done a couple blasts but they've all been under 600mg weekly.

When I started this journey I was a skinny twig, size small shirts and couldn't get 135 pounds up for one on bench. Now I am struggling to fit into XL shirts, am repping 275 for 8.

Welcome to MESO. I’m not going to pretend to offer any knowledgeable medical insight but man… I hope you regularly keep up with your doctors. I honestly don’t know if running various hormones/compounds will affect the condition or not but I definitely hope you place a premium on your long term health.

The condition is suppression of testosterone, LH and FSH. I was told I have to run test for life. I did go through endo for a couple years, but in the US with prior auth and controlled substances plus MRIs becomes very expensive and there’s nothing that can be done about the condition other than taking test.

Because of the red tape they make you jump through a ton of hoops and it’s not worth it. It’s a condition I’ve had my whole life. The only other thing you can do is remove the adenoma but it’s risky and not a guarantee your body will make the hormones again, at my age it’s pretty unlikely. So I manage it myself.

I share your disappointment with our healthcare system and frequently doctor myself too. I’m sure you’ve done much more research than I have regarding your condition.

My only point/concern is running supraphysiological levels of hormones and it’s affect on the condition. If you choose to run these type levels, I suggest having a doctor regularly monitor the condition. Things do not always manifest according to plan so excercise caution. Good luck with the journey
