The appearance of multiple newly created accounts upgrading their memberships within a short time period for the purpose of posting inquiries, praise, or discussion related to a promotion has raised concerns.
MESO-Rx does not prohibit criticism, complaints, or member discussion. In fact, we actively encourage members to report problems, share negative experiences, and hold sources publicly accountable. That said, there are clear boundaries regarding promotional conduct.
Using upgraded member accounts as a covert form of advertising or promotion is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, directing or encouraging customers to create accounts, upgrade their memberships, and post in a source thread in order to ask about promotions, discounts, availability, or to otherwise generate visibility. Using upgraded accounts as a substitute for advertising is not allowed.
Additionally, members who post on behalf of a source while receiving incentives such as reimbursement, discounts, free products, or compensation, and who fail to clearly disclose this relationship, are also in violation of forum rules.
These practices undermine transparency, distort community feedback, and damage the integrity of harm-reduction discussions. Source threads exist for accountability and open scrutiny, not for coordinated marketing activity.
We ask that all sources and associated parties avoid these actions going forward and ensure that participation on MESO-Rx remains transparent, organic, and compliant with forum guidelines.
