The video said it was cash. So he lived with his mom? LOL

It's expensive as hell on Long Island.Gym teachers, firefighters, and cops routinely make $200k+, Train conductors $400k+, School superintendents $700k and perks like a limo and driver to bring them to school every day. Thats why taxes on some run down 1500 sq ft house can easily be $30k a year.

Yeah, he's done. With the line of felonies this guy is going to be charged with... drugs, steroids, guns and cash will pale in comparison.

I don't understand the self inflected wound they are taking about.
Why would they be investigating that as a possibility?
Have they said where that idea comes from?

It appears the apple doesn't fall far from the tree

The only thing I can think of is that he was going to retire or something from being shot in the line of duty, collect pension/disability & enjoy his drugs & money. He probably has another million stashed elsewhere—of course, LE will find that as well.

Just goes to show that, as always, greed is at the root of evil and bad karma.
It would have been so easy for him, just quit and lay low.
He had been so lucky, until then.
He looked for it, really.
The whole steroid + cash bust, he gave it to them on a silver platter.

Wtf, 30k a year? Sounds like your government just took over and re imposed the old colonial taxes.

Do you really feel like you own your land if you pay that much on a run down house.

Essentially a vicious cycle was created when public sector unions started funneling tons of money to the politicians who approved their contracts. Because union dues are a percentage of their salaries, more money was available to be donated to politicians. Those politicians would approve the next contract boosting salaries. Contracts are timed to coincide with politician's end of term or retirement dates. so public anger wouldn't effect them. Laws were passed that required contracts be approved if they were similar to wages in nearby jurisdictions, so they kept matching each other's increase. After a few decades you ended up with property tax payer funded absurdities like:

some officers must've known he was dirty then when he was regarded as a hero and the story wasn't legit, they started talking. nothing makes people talk more than the dirtbag being rewarded.

That's a great point. There's no way he's doing all that dirt—likely during his "patrols"—without other cops knowing.
