My brother and I are thinking about opening our own gym. There is no real gyms in our area besdies the ymca and some local bullshit fitness center. We are are gearing towards a more hardcore back to basics gym. I know alot of gyms are changing towards "fitness style" set ups catering towards that. Do you guys think that there is still a chance for a an old school gym to make it? I have been doing a lot of groundwork and research on this and just wanted to get a feel from what you guys think. Thanks Bros. :D

I work out with my own weights, but in my area there's a 24hour gym like that, and it's where most serious lifters go. Sure, there are also some HS kids to, I think beacause the dues are $40, what's good is they get great advice, or at least I did when I was a HS kid and going there. I've been on guest passes with friends to other gyms and if I was gonna join one again, I'd certainly choose an "old school" gym rather than a gym thats more of a social club. Oh BTW the place is mostly always busy when I drive by (on my way to MickyD's.) JK

I was considering trying out dues at like $25 a month. I am keeping my day job of course till it takes off. LOL, I was also considering wholesale supplements from someone and resaling them. MOst people where I live solely buy from GNC and Vitamen World. People think I am crazy for buying supps online. I figure if I undercut those two I could sell supps too.

where you located bro? my brother and i were/are planning the same thing. i would be curious to talk to you about things.
