Opinions please 50 year old just finished cycle

I need the opinion of people in the know. I think I know the answer, but I am thinking I had fake gear. I did test-e 250 twice a week, and Dbol 30mg/day for the first 4 weeks. It was my first cycle. I was 225lb and 16.4% bodyfat at the start, now I am 231lb and 14.8% bodyfat. I didn't get any great strength gains, never felt a kick, had any side effects, or anything else out of the ordinary. I was very good on my diet and workouts the whole time. I lost inches around my waist and cut up. Most people said I looked bigger in my chest and arms but looked like I lost weight. It just seems like this is what I would do without gear. I am still doing my pct, but that is probably bs too. :mad:

Thoughts?

Sounds like bad or underdosed gear to me.At your age 500 mgs test would have you feeling 16 again.Good news is you thought you were on and made some progress ! Why not diet down now and continue to train natural,oh and kick the person's ass you got it from !

Im with Dennis, 30mgs of Dbol a day for 4 weeks you would know!

What was your diet like? How many cals total?
 
Those are nice gains man. It's very hard to drop fat and put on quality mass at the same time. So if your gear was bunk, why don't you keep making those gains naturally a little bit longer and take advantage of the fact that you can. Just my two cents, I know you're 50 and it probably sounds like I'm being condescending, but I think most of the guys here will agree. Also, find a different source bro, or send that dude a letter bomb lol.

I agree with every one of you guys so far. I am not complaining about my gains per se, I am more pissed that I pinned myself all that time for nothing! I was on my program for 13 weeks. I took a week off (mostley from eating because I was sick of trying to stuff all that food down my throat) I was about 50/40/10 protein/carbs/fat I was getting around 5000 to 6000 calories a day.

The up side is I stuck to my program to a tee, and I did make decent gains. I am going to do as dennis said and diet down and keep going..... Also kick someones ass!! I am going to try and get the BF around 10% and then try to cycle again....... with real gear. I did google the gear and it was pretty cheap on the site that I saw....... Maybe it was underdosed like Dennis said.

Thanks for not flaming me..... It does kinda suck that I finally made the plunge and the pool was empty!
