P90x?

I am 19 years old, i have around 12% bodyfat.195 pounds at 6'1" i have been interested in P90x but the only question is, does it really work? i mean i understand its alot of cardio and muscle tension but will it help put on some mass yet also get me super toned. if you have any advice please let me know. thanks
 
my wife does it and that lil bitch it tore up. I perfer to save my energy for the weights. il give her props tho.....tried it and lasted about 12 mins thru..
 
I downloaded it and tried a few sessions after a lot of my friends kept talking about it. He has a lot of energy and makes working out fun - he's very animated and funny.

But I think I'm gonna stick to my John Basdow workouts. I tried JB for a couple of weeks and the muscle I gained in just that lil' amount of time was awesome. But I got lazy and inundated with other life-crap. If I hadn't fallen off from training I would've been lean and ripped. So JB is my preferred workout routine for the future.
 
If you're interested in putting on mass, I wouldn't recommend doing P90x. You cannot really put on a lot of mass doing d-bell and plyometric exercises in your living room. I've seen the workouts & tried them. They are great for building endurance, conditioning, weight loss, but not effective for putting on mass. Get on a good high protein mass building diet, and join a gym if u are serious about putting on size.
 
Nope , very hard endurance type stuff but won't get you bigger . Respect to the people that do it though . Looks very hard . My wife tries it once and a while . Shit looks tough .
