PED testing program in Texan high schools may be defunded

No surprise that such a program does not produce the supposed results that the moralisers are seeking...

I remember Austin school district petitioning to pick this program up but thanks to someone with 1/2 a brain they wanted to look at the Amarillo and Plano?? Or Allen?? studies to see the effectiveness. At 0.00048% incidence of steroid use in 50k students the 3 million program didn't seem justifiable. So, if the steroid use by highschool students of epic proportions has been proven false can we now start having real conversations about it's scheduling? Seems less harmful then liquor IMO.

still looks like funding will be cut, and may mean others are more reluctant to go down the same path given the failure of this expensive program
