PEP's Test e, 1st cycle ever.

History:
I'm 33 5'11ish. I've been lifting weights sense I was in high school, I tried to get serious off and on but alway seemed to hurt my self or get distracted with work and or women.
In 2004 I had a motorcycle accident. I broke approx 50 bones, 35 along my vertebra, my shoulder, 9 ribs, wrist, collapsed lung, damaged spleen, torn up ankles, and torn acl, mcl and lcl in my knee. After a couple months of bed rest I was 150lbs (scrawny high school weight but fatter and skinnier) down from 200lbs. I could hardly support my own body weight sitting, had a full back brace on 90% of the time. I then had my knee opened up and the acl, mcl, lcl were replaced. After a couple months of physical therapy I decided to go back to the gym. With the help of a gym buddy I started out still in my full back brace with little rubber coated girlie weights. 2 years later I was dead lifting 425lbs and feeling pretty good. I never could squat more than 325lbs because my knee had nerve damage and moved a little different than the other. Bench press maxed at 305, I was 225lbs when I hit these weights.
Anyway, I'm currently basically in one piece, my knee gives me a little trouble sense a gnarly slide in softball a couple years ago and my back and ribs are a little goofy but plenty strong, I guess I just have the body/joints of someone 30 years older than me.
Despite getting fairly strong for my size a couple times in my life I've never had as much muscle mass as I'd like. Ever sense about 2006-7 I've been contemplating/researching running a few cycles, well the time has come.

Current stats 187lbs, 16% bodyfat. I had blood labs done, most everything was good, cholesterol was a tad high.

Total t 592 (300-1080), SHBG 51 (11-80, free t 88 (47-244), t % free 1.5 low (1.6-2.9)

I thought hard about running a test e & eq cycle because of my achy joints but decided I really should just keep it simple the first go around.
So,
PEP's Test e, 600/week shots every 3 days or twice/week for 12-16 weeks. PEP's HCG 250mg e3d, PEP's Aromasin 12mg eod.

I'm gonna see how it goes, how I feel and when weight gain stops or becomes too great for my old body. I've made a pact with my self to NOT try for new records in the gym, I'm confident that I can stay injury free, I've managed to for 5-6 years now. I can still hit things plenty hard.

Blast HCG 1500mg e3d after last shot till 4 days prior to pct.
PCT: PEP's Clomid, Aromasin. (I was thinking about adding Nolva but the pct info I ended up reading the most on said its hard on igf levels and I'm thinking I don't need two serms with a single compound and hcg.

I'm going to cut peps test e 300mg/ml with a little gso at least for a while to ease any possible pip till I get competent at pinning my self.

Support sups: krill oil, multi vitamin, NAC, SAM-e and joint support.
Nutrition: I eat well for the most part, I do have a sweet tooth though so I'll have to keep that in check. I'll shoot to start at about 3000 calories for the first month then up calories as needed. I'll keep protein up at/above 200grams, fats from red meats, avocados, some cheese etc. Carbs, brown rice, skin on boiled sweet potatoes, skin on boiled potatoes, etc.
once a week I'll probably hit up sushi or the buffet. :-)

Hey dude, I was in a fairly similar position as far as age and lifts prior to my first cycle. I was around 13%BF though, and thankfully with none of the physical setbacks you had.

My only advice to you would be to think carefully about what you want to get out this cycle. At 16% BF you'll definitely put on a fair amount of fat on a bulking cycle, this combined with the water weight would mean a significant increase in overall weight which will put a lot of additional strain on your joints. I put on about 22 pounds in the first month, which sounds good but I was pretty shocked how much extra stress that put on my body, and Im in pretty good shape.

The strength and size increase is amazing but its all amplified the lower your BF% is when you start. My only regret actually is not cutting down to around 10%BF or even less prior to starting the cycle, but as with most people I was too impatient and figured the BF% would drop while I bulked. Not so much ha ha.

I personally think 16% is a little high considering your goal is to bulk up and gain muscle mass. Would strongly recommend you to get under 15% at least. You could get to 12/13% in a couple of months with hard dieting.

Just my opinion. You will definitely get huge either way, but I believe you would be more happy with the results overall if you started from a lower BF%. Dont forget at the end of the cycle you will have to eat big during PCT to try and maintain gains. Then you need to stay at that weight for a while. And then finally you could start cutting. It just means you would be at a pretty high BF% for a long time.

Also with the HCG, I would recommend doing it during cycle and not just at the end. 250iu shot twice weekly keeps they boys hanging nice and low, so you dont get little raisin nuts lol.

Tao, thanks for joining me brother! Gso is just grape seed oil, picket it up at the grocery store. I filtered it through a .2 micron whatman syringe filter into a sterile vile with the test e. i cut it down to approx 210mg/ml vs 300mg/ml.
I'm in. Especially curious to see how the gso works. Where did you get it from if I may ask

I don't plan on a flat out bulk, a clean bulk/recomp I hope. I'm currently cutting, this morning I weighed in a couple lbs down from last week and 1% bf reduction.
I'm hoping the aromasin will keep bloat to a minimum along with cutting my salt intake and keeping carbs reasonable.
Also, unless someone has a serious objection/reason why I shouldn't continue to cut for the first 2-4 weeks of my cycle, till the test e kicks in, that is my intention, hopefully I can drop another few lbs of fat.
Although I don't like to admit it I think you're 100% correct, I should be leaner to start my cycle, I just decided that I wanted to dive in, hopefully my regrets don't outweigh the gains/result I end up with. Probably just an excuse, I'm freaken excited man, I've been thinking about this for years.

I am planning on 250iu of hcg 2x week during my cycle, and then a small blast after.

Day 1:
I spent a half hour this evening filtering out some gso through a .2 micron whatman syringe filter and mixing it with PEP's test e. Then I looked at diagrams, pictures, and videos on injecting for an hour and a half, procrastinating ..... I mean.... educating my self on injection technique.
I decided on a ventrogluteal injection based on everything I've read and heard.
So, finally and kind of abruptly after cleaned the injection site for the 7th or 8th time, I picked up the syringe with 1.25mi (Approx 262.5mg of test e) and a 1.5 inch 23mm needle, put all my weight on my right leg, let one small drip of test e slide down the needle to lubricate and slowly inserted the needle about 1 1/4 inch into my left ventroglutial muscle. Whoa! That's it!? I'm still conscious! It was painless!. So I took a breath, aspirated and started to carefully apply pressure to the plunger. I think I went nice and slow, about 30 seconds I'm guessing, I paused when I started to feel a little pressure then finished and slid the needle back out. A small bead of blood formed, I cleaned it again and applied a small dot bandaid. DONE! I can't really feel the injection point, my hip is a little tight but that's from all the lying on the floor moving my leg in the air like some crazy yoga lady during the how to video extravaganza.
Off to bed now, hopefully there are no surprises in the morning.

Yea man, I was scared shitless all day yesterday but it went SMOOTH! Zero pip today at the injection site. I have a nurse in the family but they would not approve of my choices so I'm on my own. If things stay smooth like the 1st shot I'm good!

The first injection is always the scariest! I'm still a pussy when it comes to self injection. Thank god my wife is a nurse and she's used to giving injections.

Ok, so a little update: zero pip this morning at the injection site. my hip joint is a little sore but I think that's from me being obsessive about the injection spot last night, rolling around on the carpet, poking and pushing on my hip, rotating, twisting like a crazy F@%k!

I was lying in bed last night half expecting pain and fever to come, but knowing logically that things went smooth I finally fell a sleep around 2am.
I swear I could feel the Test slowly entering my blood stream. It kind of felt like when (if you've ever taken a strong stimulant and stayed laying down half a sleep, it kind creeps over you and your still sleepy but the stimulant effect is in there too, strange, hard to explain.)
probably my imagination.
anyway, I feel good this morning.
I was thinking back on last nigh, not really sure why I injected only 1.25ml, it should have been closer to 1.5ml, which would have been about 300mg of Test. anyway no big deal for my first injection I think. Maybe I'll do 3 injections this week and next of 1.25ml-1.5ml to front load a little.
what does everyone think??

I also meant to post yesterday my bp stats from yesterday morning:
Upon waking and pissing my bp was 126/71.
resting hr was 45bpm.
weight 185, bf 15%

I'm going to take body measurements hopefully later today. I also took some pictures of myself (hate doing that shit), we'll see if I have the balls to post em!

Overanalyzing. You're fine. if you wanted to front load you should have done prop for like 2 weeks.

yea, probably right on the prop, I almost ordered some, should have but I didn't know how I'd do with pinning so I held off, damn!

I think I should just stick with my plan of doing a small cut for the next few weeks till the test kicks in. my body and joints will be happy that way too.

Have fun with it man! It will all come down to diet really. I blew up in the first month. So much so I changed to a recomp for the the 2nd half of my cycle. Will be following your progress. Post up some start pics too

I've only pinned in the ventroglutial injection site (gluteus medius) with 30% gso so I don't know yet if its the location or the gso that made it painless and PIP free but its been 24 hours now sense my injection and its still completely pain free. in the last few hours I can feel where the injection area was but zero actual pain. I don't know when PIP peaks but it seems that its going to stay painless for this first injection. I'll eventually try another injection site and then I'll try PEP's gear uncut.

I'm hoping this cycle will be fun, don't really know exactly what to expect but everyone seems to describe feeling awesome almost all the time. I could care less about putting on 40lbs, just enough solid muscle to make a physique change when all is said and done.

From my experience you would have felt it already. I think glutes are pretty forgiving.
A piece of advise: Do not pin quads when you try it without cutting it. I got test flu when I did
