Will keep you guys updated. I can't train upper body because of pec/shoulder so I'm just gonna make the best of it and kill this This should be fun on 2300 cals. I'm thinking it will give a major fat loss boost. Here's what it will look like. Starting tommorow. Going to run it with a training max of 405 lbs (real max around 430+) let me know any thoughts/reccomendations

I've never run that program, but from what I know of it it seems like running it while cutting is risking more injuries. A program like that requires surplus calories for recovery.

I ran it with bench while on a slight deficit before and natural and it worked great. I dropped about 6 lbs and peaked at +45 pounds on bench and maintained 30 of that. It is only the Jr. Version of the program+ I figured recovery would be greatly boosted by test. If it were the full smolov I would have to agree! That shit is intense as hell.

I ran smolov jr for bench and it worked really well. The only change I made was I never benched back to back like it calls for. It extended the week by a day every time but I felt the recovery was more important and your still getting in the adequate volume.

I did the friday+Saturday benching and it was great! Really felt strong as hell on those saturdays. You are a bit stiff no matter how much warmup you do though. I reccomend doing it 4x a week if you ever run it again. I loved it
