PLEASE HELP! Pec tear/strain

Alright, here is what happened.

I go in one week, I was doing my normal 315 for 6 and whatever. Everything went fine. I did inclines also that day and declines.

I come in the next week and I put 135 on to warm up and it feels like the bar is bent (Weight is lopsided). I switch bars, same thing. I don't know what was going on. So, I took a day off, went back, same thing.

This was about a month ago and I still feel weakness. I can barely do 135 for 10. There is no pain, just fatigue and weakness. My tricep/bicep underarm area turned colors for one or 2 days but that went away and there is nothing wrong with bicep but I'm having a hard time going heavy with my tricep or getting a pump going.

My pec has already gotten significantly smaller than the other one.

I just don't understand it because i am not experiencing any pain. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I have had tendonitus in the armpit tendons 4-5 times. Right under the front delt. It is not that thou cause it would be real painful to even bench 135. I think if you had bruising that you must have torn something a little. I t is strange for sure that it does not hurt. And even stranger it does not hurt when doing the 135 for 10. Can you feel any deformities in that pec ? I would go see a doctor and maybe get an mri done. If the bar is lopsided going up i would say for sure you ripped something. Go to a doc and take it easy .

Sounds like you are experiencing a muscle strain which usually happens when the muscle is worked beyond it's limit. Sometimes it can become quite weak during workouts and may involve some bruising if blood vessels are broken but you can treat it with ice or maybe even a heating pad. Overtraining a particular muscle can actually make you smaller but in the meantime, I would take some time off and your body will let you know when it's time to train again.
