powder sources vs. prepared injectable sources

Im completely new to the whole homebrew thing but i was wondering if powder sources were any more reliable than regular gear sources that one might find on the internet... Any insight on this?

Both can and have scammed, so best bet
is to get references and always follow up
with sources.

You take a chance with any transaction, but more likely to be scammed by the finished product source than a raw source simply because there are more finished guys than raws.
Keep in mind the "good" Domestic sources are minimal, but there are some very good/reputable ones around!
