Hi guys! I couldn't really find anything about this to he honest. How do I prepare Telmisartan raw powder? Can I just take it as raw powder? Do I mix it with any liquid? Do I put it in capsules? I noticed Telmisartan generally comes in tablets.

You can do any of those things you mentioned. Best way is to take it in liquid form. Less margin of error because of a higher total weight.

Thanks for your reply? May I ask what you would recommend to mix it with to get an oral suspension? I read some stuff about glycerine or humco

For Suspension glycerine or humco. For solution which is difficult to make you need atleast ethanol. You can find them on dutchsarms

If you have a scale precise enough you can just take it by mouth. Can't remember the recommended dosage exactly but I think it is somewhere around 20-40 mg which is pretty easy to nail with a miligram scale. And it's a great drug too, especially for athletes abusing PEDs!

I actually had Enclomiphene Citrate raw and was making an oral solution with PEG400 and DMSO but it was time consuming and it tasted like shit so I just opted for selling it to my clients in powder form and providing them with a 10mg scoops that I have. Missing a few mgs at 10+ mg dosages won't make any significant difference.

If it was something like drugs that are dosed at a couple of mgs or even mcgs then you would have to be extremely careful. In that case a soultion would be the best possible option in terms of safety.

This is incorrect. Humco will alter the ph of Telmisartan negatively changing the properties of the drug. Telmisartan is one raw that you just can’t mix with anything. PH needs to be above 10. Compounding pharmacies use buffers and/or either alkaline or acidic vehicles to make Telmisartan oral solutions/ suspensions.
This is especially important since this is a blood pressure medication

I take 80mg Telmisartan every day. I have mixed Telmisartan with Humco (my favorite vehicle for oral suspensions) before I knew this. It comes out a thick milky clumpy mess. But more importantly the drug will not work properly once the PH is altered, which Humco does.

making capsules is probably a better option

Don’t feel bad I didn’t know this either and I love making suspensions with Humco
I weigh out each dose now.

Thanks for this. I don't know if any of it is true, but I have a lot of telmisartan raw and this is an added layer of research to do before preparing a recipe.

But tbh I'll just be taking pharma Micardis for the foreseeable future. Raws are for #prepperlyfe

Good call,

No reason to screw when pharma is cheap and easily accessible

Just Google it. I found the information from a couple of pharmaceutical companies. If I feel like it I might try to research again later and post the links
