I recently was prescribed an anti-depressant while on cycle, although the issue has existed for about a year now. The doctor mentioned something about a thyroid test, my blood is to be taken in the next few days. I have been taking t3 at 25mcg for the first 5 days, then for the last 5 days it has been 50mcg. Would I be better off dropping the t3 for a few days before the test or should I be taking a low dosage to mimic appropriate levels?

I think your fucked either way foreal. My understanding is that your thyroid is in overdrive currently but if you dropped it, you would be significantly low for a few days. Idk what a replacement dose would be, maybe 12.5mcg mayb 25mcg looking at the medical literature on cytomel may give you an idea of what docs dose to put ppl at normal levels. Lol mayb if you drop it altogether before test and your levels come back in the toilet he'll prescribe u t3/4

Theres no point in taking the test if your using T3,it will make the results wrong. While T3 gets out of your system fast it wont be back to your normal for a week or 2. You could put off the test or just tell the doc your using T3 and he can reschedule it. They usually dont prescribe T3 unless you have a problem with your body making its own or converting T4 to T3.I was diagnosed hypothyroid and an now on 112mcg of T4.Let the doc determine what you need.

Just tell the doctor that you're self-medicating with T3. The test will be meaningless and even worse - it could lead to inappropriate course of treatment by your doctor. In many cases when you seek treatment from a doctor for health-related issues, you are making his/her job fucking impossible by withholding information about your pattern of AAS/PED use.
