Hi guys
Just wondering what folks are running to prevent DVT issues , whether your risk is natty/genetic or compound related
Clearly watching lipids, hematocrit markers is one thing , May get D-Dimer blood test.
I am getting vascularity on the calf muscle, but want to prevent vericose veins as well. (Bruising on the shins)
Currently running.
- crestor (prescribed before I started any gear, generic high cholesterol problem , always since an adult, under control w the med)
- Telmisartan 80mg a day. Lowered my systolic 15 points , diastolic 10 points. Will see if it helps w hematocrit reduction and with keeping it in check
- niacin
- baby aspirin 80mg per day
Watched a few vigorous Steve videos and he’s Talked about adding beta blockers as well , even if you’re on Ace inhibitors.
If anyone has got insight into protection against DVT or vericose veins (i realize that it’s not the same thing ) I’d love to hear your thoughts. Either preventative stuff (supps or meds ) as well as any meds you may have on hand “just in case”) like anti- coagulants etc.
Thanks
