Is it even worth taking a low dose primo? I’m not trying to blast but rather trying to add a little boost to 200mg test without having to worry about too many health problems. Is it even worth taking 100-200mg primo as taking any more crashes e2? Any other recommendations? Should I just ramp up to 400mg-500mg test and increase primo to see a real effect?

What are you actually trying to achieve with those compounds? Are you looking to cut or stay lean? What are your current stats: age, weight, body fat, height? To give it to you straight, pinning only 100 to 200mg is pretty much a waste, especially considering how expensive primo is. It’s such a mild compound that at low doses you’ll barely feel it. Honestly, you’d probably get more out of just running 500mg of test and using primo strictly for some estrogen control. Right now I’m blasting 600mg of primo along with test and NPP, and even at that level, it still feels subtle. If you’re only thinking about it for estrogen management, then yeah, maybe 100 to 200mg has some use, but for me, even at 600 I still need aromasin to keep things under control despite having a solid diet. Primo is really a long game compound. It works quietly in the background, and half the time you don’t even realize it’s doing its job until you look back at the bigger picture.

Recently started trt and I want to eventually try to formulate a cycle that isn’t too harsh for lean bulking to start and primo’s side effects seem very mild

First cycle, if on TRT or not, should always be just Test. IMO. It helps to learn to manage how your body aromatizes to higher doses of Test 400-500mgs is a good first go) so you can be a bit better informed when you throw in other compounds later on.

I think Anavar is fine to run the last couple of weeks of the cycle. I say that because orals, even Var, can still hit your bloodwork pretty hard regardless of the bullshit some people push that it’s completely harmless. Never a good idea to fuck up your bloods early in your cycle, especially your first one.

Some may say no orals at all, but the fact you aren’t like some of the dipshits recently posting about first cycles and adding Superdrol and Anadrol or other bullshit like that, I approve.

I'm in a similar situation. Currently on 150mg/week of testosterone split into 6 pins per week (daily injections).
Male, 34 years old, been lifting for 4 years, around 16% body fat. I started TRT 3 months ago. My initial bloodwork showed very low levels — total testosterone was 286 ng/dL, and free T was also low. I didn’t have major libido issues, but I was struggling with anxiety, recovery, and muscle gains.


My diet and training are on point, macros dialed in, so TRT seemed like the right answer.
After 2 months, my estradiol (E2) came back at 279 pmol/L or around 75 pg/mL.
I haven’t really felt any strong high E2 symptoms (or maybe I just can’t tell yet).
I’ll be doing updated bloodwork this week, now that I’m about 4 months in.


If E2 is still that high, I’m considering adding a low dose of Primo (probably 50–60mg/week) to help manage E2 without having to use an AI.
Still learning how my body responds to AAS, but so far I’m happy with what 150mg of testosterone per week is doing.

Does this seem like a smart way to go about it?

Just my opinion here, but If you haven't yet, Titrate up every week to find your upper testosterone limit when e2 symptoms start. This will be extremely valuable information going forward, and will help you take a lot of guesswork, time and frustration out of the equation when implementing cycles. You will need to have just a little patience initially, lol.
I will say when I was closer to 20% body fat I aromatized at anything over 220mg/wk
Now about 11-12% body fat and eating much cleaner and titrated up to 400mg Test/wk, and got only slightly emotional. So I added in 300mg/wk of Primo about a month ago.
I can already see what the primo wants to do, lol. I'm dryer, more vascular and feel great the past few days. I'm adding in Bold cyp in 3wks for cardio benefits, otherwise I'd most certainly up the primo higher.
My whole point there was that your upper testosterone threshold will change as your body composition and physiology changes, so keep that in mind too.

I wouldn't run primo any lower than 400
