So I have been reading a bunch of articles on pub med about rhgh and studies about gh. I wonder if anyone else does this, and what they concluded about hgh. It seems one thing that all of these studies have in common is that rhgh has no effect on myofibrillar protein synthesis. However, it does seem to have many other benefits, collagen synthesis, fat loss, and many other physiological and psychological benefits. I'm just curious what everyone else has found reading any of these articles. There seems to be a disconnect between anecdotal experience and scientific articles.

There's no disconnect mate the truth is GH pales in comparison to AAS as a sole anabolic agent UNLESS the provisos are;

1) used in VERY LARGE doses, the specific amount is difficult to objectively quantify bc of the influence of # 2 and # 3

2) combined with insulin

3) used in conjunction with AAS

4) it's anabolic characteristics are enhanced when certain amino acids (lucine in particular) are co-transported

The disconnect is most who use GH have a limited understanding about how it works, or how to optimize the results, they just know it does.

Consequently most who use GH give no thought to the fact in the absence of those "ancillaries" I listed above, a lot of GH would be called bunk worthy of a trash can or relegated to the status of a "nice way to lose fat".
