Good morning to all. My buddy recieved an email this morning from [email address redacted] addressed PPL leak warning. The email clams to be from Private Investigators that work under the DEA. It also says that have seized PPL databases. They have my buddies name and address and are threatening to go to the DEA with the findings. Unless..... he sends them $950 in bitcoin. Has anyone else ever had this happen? He does not plan on sending the money but still kind of sketchy.

Yea, there's a lot of posts under their source thread, where PPL is basically getting upset because everyone else is getting upset. I wonder why.
