Question about DNP

I heard it is a powerful staining agent. If the tabs are real, then if you let it dissolve in water, then it should dye a paper cup right?

I would think the tab itself would be able to pass along some color but I have never seen tabs.

x2. all the DNP i have ever ordered or seen has come in capsule form and contained either yellow powder or crystals inside.
