ok so soon im going to be starting a tren/prop cycle. needless to say im worried about hairloss, even though im not "prone." i have a nice head of shaggy curly hair and i would hate to lose it (the girls love it). sooo i was thinking of trying some proscar. h carries it in 5 mg/ml doses for liquid proscar. what dose do you guys think i should start out at? should i just be taking 5 mg a day? someone say only take 1 mg daily...but i think that was for propecia (even though they are supposed to be the same thing they are manufactured different and propecia comes in 1 mg doses while proscar comes in 5 mg).

anyone who knows anything about proscar i would greatly appreciate the advice.

if you arent prone to hairloss you probably dont need proscar, topical minoxidil and spiro shoudl be fine, shampoo with nizoral 3x/week. proscar can have sides that u dont have to worry about if u use topicals

But topicals won't do nothing for your prostate!!!
Yes, use proscar, sorry, don't know the dose!! But proscar and minoxidil is best prevention method.

Proscar has 5mg finasteride, while Propecia has 1mg finasteride. I've always used 1/4 tab of Proscar, so that's 1.25mg finasteride/day. I also use topical minoxidil and Nizoral.

he didnt ask about prostate protection, and if he is young it is doubtful he will need to worry about it anyways..

Not so brother... My younger brother, who just turned 40, has had prostrate problems for a couple decades now. Sure old age is a time to be concerned but the DHT conversion during a cycle can have an impact on the prostrate even being young. I would say the he use use a small dose as a preventative measure.

PEACE

Cheers brother!!! My saying!!

Regardless if he asked or not, it's a good idea and I have no problem with giving out a bit more info than is requested. It's called courtesy, or also "looking out for your brothers"!!

Better save than sorry.
