(You can see the results from my 2 previous blood tests on this thread https://thinksteroids.com/community/threads/134236787.)

Well i just came back from my family doctor. He told me everything is fine with my blood tests. I told him about my sex drive being low and loosing weight/muscle and he just tells me that some people are different. The same thing he said when i told him I was feeling cold the last time i saw him. I didnt tell him any of the other symptoms i was having, just wanted my blood tests and to get out of there. So after getting a photocopy of the test i went outside and read it there, here it is:

E2 133 <260
TT 17 17.3-23.5
FT 37.2 31-94
LH 2 adult male 2-6
FSH 1 adult male 2-8
Free T3 NORMAL THYROID FUNCTION. FT3 NOT WARRANTED. PER DR. SHARMA (this got me quite upset, how come some doctor who i have never seen say this? If you look at my last tests my free t3 was below the reference range. This was an important test for me...)
TSH 3.71 0.3-5.0
Free T4 15.7 17.5-21.1
GH 0.45 up to 7.0

I had other tests i dont know why there werent done (like IGF-1 and DHT)

After reading these tests coming from a doctor who just told me everything is fine, I just got so dissapointed and discouraged. I just felt like crying. I feel so helpless. All i want is to feel normal...

Dont get disheartened. I went for 25 years without therapy, so I know who you feel.
The second last endo I saw stated in a report that I dont have hypogonadism. The T results from his referal was 9.2 (norm 12-38), so keep looking for the right endo, you will be so pleased when you locate him. I nearly told him to go back to Uni and start your training again.

You just need to find a competant doctor. TSH is too high, Free T4 is low and you didn't even get the results for Free T3, which is probably the most important of the three. If nothing else, you need to get this thyroid issue resolved.

Could you benefit from TRT? Probably, but you should get the thyroid issue sorted out first.

Good luck.

Go get a second opinion LG, or third, or whatever number youre on. Most doctors will look at FT to determine if theres a hypogonadism problem from what I understand. By the book they wont treat a fT level in the normal range. Some doctors will carefully treat symptoms if theres an indication of a potential problem. I think you have an indication of Hypogonadism with your values combined with your symptoms. But to get a doctor to treat it is another matter You need to find a doctor that holds that philosophy about medicine. One that understands Hypogonadism would even be better.

From your numbers your SHBG might be low too, causing your fT to be elevated higher than it normally would with your TT. Ive never seen ranges like the ones on your tests, interesting. Obviously, your LH and FSH are low and combined with your T levels point toward secondary hypogonadism so you have some indications for this disorder and should be further tested IMO.

If your fT3 was low before and with your fT4 is low, combined with your low LH and FSH and T I would definitely be looking at doing a high resolution MRI to see what your Hypothalamus-Pituitary might show. You seem to have clear indications of something going on there. The only thing I can think of is that your doctor looked at the TSH and said, thats normal so I guess Ill just disregard all the other values and say everythings normal!

I just think you got a bad draw on your doctor. Go get another one or see an endocrinologist, I think even a bad endocrine doc would be smart enough to see you have a potential problem.

Sorry!

I just came back from Dr. Komer's clinic. He decided to put me on HCG since my lh is low. He gave me a script for it and i have to go back on friday for him to show me how to use it. He says I will take it 3 times a week... and blood tests drawn after 6 weeks ...

Did you tell my good friend Dr. Komer I said hello? He's a really great guy, as I am sure you noticed.

yep, i told him how you recommended him

Gordon Tonnelly was real nice and helpful, Dr. Komer seemed a bit tired today and I didn't talk with him for too long. He also wants me to get DHEA but since he cannot prescribe it since it is illegal in Canada I will have to find it on my own. Does anyone know where I can get DHEA in Canada?

Yes, Gord is a great guy, too. I believe he is considered the world's foremost authority on oral testosterone undecoanate (Andriol).
