radar and laser detectors and jammers,which brand is best?

Hey bros, I'm looking to buy a radar and laser detector/jammer,can anyone reccommed some good one?.....

I have a Beltronics 950. So far it hasn't let me down.

best for the money is the passport can get it at best buy cost i think 300-350, it has beaten the valentine in test reports too and the valentine is 400-450

best you can get is either a passport or a valentine

passport is what i bought or my Trans Am, saved me many times....

Just dont buy a rockymountain unit, here in the uk a re-seller has just been closed down by our trading standards department, as the rmr units do not live up to anywhere near their claims, there is also a site offering $5000 to anyone who can get one to jam anything

ive got a beltronics 950, and i love it.

Scorpion jammers are the only active radar jammers that i know of that have tested to perform as described. they even have a ka jammer.

Blinders have also tested well as laser jammers.

I carpool with my buddy and he has a valentine.

Both react about the same

Trust me -dont settle for anything other than these two.

new ones will run about 300 buck.

My dealership installed a K40 front and rear radar detector/laser diffusor before I picked up the car for a ridiculous fee, and I have yet to get ticketed (since I picked it up in July) From what I've read I'd say brooklyn is on point, the Valentine 1 and the Passport 8500 have consistenly got the best reviews. Only thing that sucks about Valentine 1s is that they cornered the market and you pretty much have to buy from them direct, so there is no real way to shop around for a best price.

I 2nd the K40. I've had it for 2 years and always very reliable.

the passport 8500 is an swesome radar detector. The 7500 is also a good one to look into.
