Rare scalp condition

Recently due to this outbreak and all barbershops being closed, I had decided to shave my hair and I noticed something unusual:

There were two ridges in the top of my scalp, one on each side, vertically along the hairline, and one of them is very deep.

I believe this is something that developed recently, because I remember touching one side of my head and feeling it since at least a couple of years.

After googling my symptoms, I quickly found that these ridges are caused by an extremely rare condition called CVG.

This condition essentially causes scalp growth, sometimes to an extreme extent, it is usually benign and there is no treatment for it except surgery.

After researching this for a while, I read some reports and claimed Anabolic Steroid use was suspected as a cause, and more recently that using Rogaine could also potentially cause it, and these are two things I have, and continue to do, but I have done it for over 3 years, and only recently have these symptoms exacerbated, but I have another suspect:

Earlier in the year I have used Mk677, I have never used it before, or any IGF/HGH like substances, and I don’t if it could have contributed for this, but given my (limited) knowledge on these substances, I believe it is more likely that it could have had a greater impact on this issue.

I would like to know from you, especially those that used IGF/HGH if you have ever experienced this issue or a similar one.

Thanks for your time

A friend of mine may have this condition. I never mentioned it to him, but I recall noticing what you described. He has cycled test, deca and dbol but I don't believe he has ever touched any hgh, rogaine, mk677 etc.

Ive got CVG , a couple ridges on each side of my head (4 total). Its from elevated testosterone/IGF-1 levels either born naturally or via AAS like myself . Heres a FB group I visit sometimes . You just gotta live with it , surgery is brutal ! The bodybuilder/actor Terry Cruz has it as does alot of bodybuilders and wrestlers....

Thanks for posting man, does it get worse over time ?

Mine hasnt . I got the 4 lines then it stopped . The condition is a thickening of the scalp , sometimes steroids make the wrong things grow..... Mine happened right after a long Equipoise cycle . I probably asked for it but I sure got ripped and dense on that cycle . Never EQ (or Tren) again....;)

I think mine happened after mk677, but unsure, I believe I felt something there for a long time before that.

I had to stop using mk677 because it elevated my blood sugar too much . I say if you stop doing what you think caused it you"ll be fine . Some longterm secondary CVG sufferers say it fades to a thin line eventually .

So, I have developed this atrocious "super rare" skin problem. Mine is certainly AAS related. I noticed it start last year blasting and yet again it has gotten quite a bit worse. I am at a loss as to what EXACTLY makes it worse but up till a week ago I was running test/tren and rotating shots of EQ and primo. Along with anadrol pre-work out 12ius GH eod and humalog before big meals.

Size was incredible I had only been about 4-5 weeks on full blast and noticed the skin folds getting much, much worse.

Dunno if any CVG sufferers are still around BUT I bring potentially good news, I've discovered a new treatment involving injections of hyaluronidase into the scalp. Seems promising. I'll put a couple links to news articles and the injections can be found pretty cheaply online. I had stopped my cycle cold turkey but now I'm probably getting back on. If and when I score some scalp injections Ill post my results here of course.
