I recently purchased a sample of DNP online in powder form. I had never used DNP before, so I have no past experience for reference, but when I received it, it did not look nearly as dark yellow as the pics I have seen online. It was moisture-heavy, so I dried it out quite a bit, but there are still some clumps. It stained my fingers when I accidentally got some on my hands, and has left a yellowish tint to the plastic bags I have stored it in.
I am on day 8, with the first 4 days at 200mg and the last 4 at 400mg. The first day, I felt warmer than normal, but had much more energy. I am assuming that it was a mental effect. The last 3 days at 200mg were a breeze. The first day at 400mg, I didn't feel any warmer throughout the day, but it was a cool day to begin with. I was very sluggish, but very cold and took a nap with a blanket on. My fiance made a pizza, and I had four slices even though I normally follow a lower-carb diet. A couple hours after dinner though, I went to bed and had to sleep above the covers since I was burning up. That makes me believe that it is DNP, but maybe underdosed? I have felt warmer for the last 4 days, and my face is flushed often. But overall, it is only a mild annoyance.
I am currently 171 lbs., having started at around 174 lbs. The reason I am questioning the legitimacy (or rather the potency) of the product is the fact that although it stains the plastic and the caps I put it in, I haven't noticed it getting into everything when I cap it. I have been careful, but it's not the mess I was anticipating. Also, I seemed to adapt quickly when I raised the dosage. I have bad allergies, and have used Benedryl every day for several years. Ever since I have started using the DNP, I have had no issues with my allergies, and have not had to use the Benedryl anymore.???? The DNP makes my face feel warmer much of the time, but the warming effects are the worst only for maybe 6 hours or so after the last dose. Since DNP has a long half-life, shouldn't I feel the warming effects all the time? I would appreciate any helpful input. I took some pics of the sample in it's original package, and of the caps after I filled them. Will post when I get a chance.
