Record Bench Press

Did anyone see Scot Mendelson bench press 1008lbs? I know he holds the record for both on and off gear lifts. Man thats a scary lift though. Does he still hold the record? The most I have ever seen anyone bench was just over 600lbs.

Damn is all I got to say about that.

Ryan Kennelly benched 1,036 pounds 29.7.07at the WPO Stars of the Bench in the Ukraine. That gave Kennelly the win and the new All-Time Record in the bench press. Kennelly surpasses Gene Rychlak's 1,010 pound effort.

Wow! That's a heavy ass bench press! I didn't realize the numbers had gotten so high. I'm still stuck in the time when Anthony Clark's 850 was impressive. LOL
