Rep and Set range changes for first cycle

Just started my first cycle....500mg's Enan - 400mg's EQ

I can't seem to find any consistent info on how to modify your rep and set ranges when beginning the use of aas's.

Since my goal is for pure MASS, not strength, what is the consensus on the best rep and set range for the larger and smaller muscle groups???

thats more of an individual preference for what works as everyone responds differently to high weight low reps/ low weight high reps workouts.

I respond very well to high weight low reps but you might find you are totally the opposite.

I am going to assume that you have been working out natural for at least a few years and have a solid base already, if thats the case continue doing what you are now if its been working and adjust as needed mid cycle.
Just one word of advise don't up the weight too much for a first cycle, you may feel really strong and can handle heavy weights your tendons probably can not and injury could happen.

why work harder only when on cycle?

if you feel you need to change your workout when you juice, then your old workout must have not been good. always work your ass off and you will see good results.

as far as actual training goes, go as heavy as you can for anywhere from 8-12 reps. that seems to be the sweetspot for most people. but, keep in mind that everybody's body react differently to different methods, so just listen to your body and adjust accordingly. hope this helps.

and like NSL said, don't get cocky on your workouts and go too heavy. be safe.

Thanks for the responses,

I guess the question I really wanted to ask was simply should I do more sets then someone not on AAS's. I would assume the significant endogenous increase in anabolic substances would allow training.... training that would normally be considered overtraining for the natural.

No, over training is over training regardless.

Keep with what you are doing now and evaulate when on cycle.

Peace,

I dont belive alot in overtraining. I think you can do body parts more. Just dont spend 3 hours in the gym .
Like today ill do chest arms and shoulders. Then i might hit them again in 3 days.

I do less sets High weight to get to failure, more bodyparts. I dont hit chest like i see most people do which is do flat bench , incline , decline , dips , crossovers, just set after set. I think its over kill to do so many dif. exercises.

the guideline i usually go by is soreness. after i work a muscle, it'll be sore for anywhere from 3-5 days, so i make sure not to hit it again until the soreness goes away.

Cortisol?

AAS has been shown to reduce cortisol levels dramaticaly, I am under the impression that this leads to a resistance in overtraining. I work out 5 days a week regardless on/off but I work more bodyparts in a day while I'm on. While I'm off I'll only train my back, while "on", I'll train my back and biceps, and usually calves. Durring intermission I'll usualy train my chest alone, while on cycle I'll train chest-shoulders-triceps all in a day. I would appreciate any insights anyone might have, anyone disagree with cortisol theory?

Because I used to be an UG Chemist for one of the most reputable sources on MESO....MikeS*****

I originally hooked up with him to build his website, then became his original chemist for his line of Custom Gear, which was a year and a half ago.

Even though I was making 100's of ml's of gear a day I never did a cycle....wasn't ready to yet.
