Running on Deca? (Calf pumps!)

Anybody have success trying to run while on Deca? The calf pumps are so painful it's impossible to continue.

I take taurine to counter the pumps, but it's not working.

Any ideas fellas?

Thanks!

I don't do cardio. I don't see a point, it's not nessasary for bodybuilding, aesthetics, or power.

I'm not a competitive athelete, and my health is fine long as I keep my body fat low.

I'd honestly say just drop the cardio...

No way around the pumps, just make sure if you want to run its not on an incline...

Try to use a full stride and use Your full leg muscles when you run.
That should mitigate strain on the Calf, and lessen the pump.

On dbol I had crazy calf pumps. It feel like a muscle spasm it is so bad everything cramps up and you can't move it.

Fun stuff.

If your bulking why are you doing cardio? To me cardio serves great purpose in increasing your Caloric deficit, but on deca I feel like it's be counter productive.

Stair master always burns my quads faster than my calfs that'd be a way better alternative in my opinion. Better for your joints too than outdoor running I'd imagine.

I'm simply looking for thoughts about the pumps specifically and if there is a solution, other than "don't run".

I've read that taurine helps. I'll have to research dosages and ensure that I'm taking the right dose.

i don't have to run. I'm always between 7% and 10% BF. I actually enjoy it and it's a great active warm up at 5am, when I lift. Getting the body lose at 5am at 40yo isn't easy! (Especially in the winter) Haha

I'm not looking to run a marathon, just a couple miles here or there on a treadmill.

Thanks guys.

Bro the treadmill is the problem,
Run outside, use your full leg in each stride and don't over strain and dont put all the force on the Calf muscles while doing so.

That's should help.

And treadmills suck, and especially in your case you want to avoid running up a steep incline.

I love the stairmaster for cardio sessions...20 mins at moderate level really gets those legs burning!

Best time for me is after workout on chest days as it is harder on leg days lol.
