Saizen...is it synthetic?

To my knowledge, all HGH is synthetic, as the pituitary glands of cadavers is old technology. However, my buddy swears that Saizen is the only brand that uses real GH from cadavers.

Can someone please dispel this for me?

I guess his buddy has one of those youth clinics, so it appears I can get a prescription to any brand of HGH that I'd like. What are the best ones and what are the best ways to have it administered (reconstituted with water, in a cartridge, etc)? I've looked into Jinotropin in the past and heard good things about it.

i dout they would use it out of dead bodies anymore considering the risk of contamination.............. who knows though......... i think they can make it in a lab though............ if it's made in the lab or taken from teh body hgh is hgh..........

Well that's just plain silly . . of course it doesn't come from cadavers. The reason why HGH is as inexpensive as it is is that they produce it using recombinant DNA technology. According to the http://www.serono.com/products/metabolism_01-01.jsp?major=1&minor=2, Saizen is no different. It's a recombinant product.

Although it isn't harvested from cadavers, there's nothing synthetic about it . . it is human growth hormone. It just comes from genetically-modified cells instead of from cadavers. I don't know what kind of cells - sometimes they use bacteria, sometimes they use animal cells - e.g CHO (chinese hamster ovary) cells. I used to work in biotech, but that was a while ago.

Pituitary growth hormone along with pituitary FSH and LH ceased in 1985 worldwide except in France where it ceased a number of years later

Right about the time when recombinant technology started to come on line in a big way.
