I've just about finished the mancave - functionality above quality !

We got rebook half inch floors, IKEA mirrors, my mate's old crosstrainer for warming up (!) and I put some money towards the half rack and plates. Two licks of paint, and et voila, 30 square feets of powerlifting paradise.

Set me back 2000 dollars all in, and 8 months of carefully assembling it all equipped with my 10 thumbs and a black belt in DYI procrastination.

Do I spend a lot of time there? Yes! Do I recommend a home gym? Yes!

I will get some pics up from the commercial gyms I frequent too. What do your gyms look like?

Here's one of the smaller commercial gyms I frequent. 1000 sqft, its got the essentials for powerlifting, and some weird-ass stuff for Kinesthetics in case Bruce Lee stops by.

He hasn't yet. Actually, its quite an empty gym, so great for hanging out and doing of light work, spending time and stretching and hanging out without needing to plan through an avalanche of gym-goers.

Its connected to a spa, and they do services, shakes, protein, bcaa but they won't jab your ass if you know what I mean.

Yea it's not much but I'm on a tight budget right now o_O

Holy s*** that's a G.Y.M bud! I keep looking at the picture of your cave like the first time I saw a vagina. Wouldn't know where to start... maybe I'd stand in a corner and flick the switch

Alot of my mates blow out when they walk in my shed, its actually a 5 station cable machine. So i have the lat pull down, seated row and tricep on the end.

I wont lie i have some plans goin thru council for a 9metre x 7metre shed to be built behind this shed. Im goin to plaster it all and move my gym gear into that. Then i can use my current gym as a workshop and make more money outside of work :) hopefully i can have some photos for you boys in a few months

I just got my 25lb dumbbells in and my Super bowflex Gold should be here next week ..

I'm probably gonna need a good pair of gloves for those dumbbells too ..
I don't wanna get calluses
Because that would interfere with my hobby of knitting

I can't wait till I move again this fall and get a house so I can start on my man cave. I hate going to the gym somedays and seeing some of the stupid ass people there. The only thing is that I travel for work now so I Have a snap fitness membership. There is one right by where I stay when I'm out of town.
