sick yesterday...Can i work out today??

I was sick yesterday with a stomach bug where i spent the day starving and puking...I woke up today feeling like a million bucks...Is it not really a good idea to work out today?? I reallllyyy want to after taking a week off after finishing my 3x3...I feel like im deflating (especially after not eating yesteday)
 
You're better off taking the day off and ensuring that you don't relapse. Also, you're glycogen is low from not eating yesterday, so you're workout will suck. Eat today and restore your muscle glycogen. Another day off is not going to shrink you.
 
The better question to ask is, how did you get sick?" Answer that so that you can avoid the situation in the future.

Yes, I know you will get sick sometimes, but you can also take steps to avoid most of it.

My opinion is if you feel great like you say, go and hit the gym but ease into things, don't go balls to the wall blood & guts type workout. Lite exercise will not make your sickness relapse. In fact getting your blood flowing will help you. You probably had a 24 hr bug anyway the way it sounds. My niece and nephew both had the same thing last week.
