Simple Sugars

Don't know why some frown upon high carb, high sugars, especially around training. Been training first thing in the morning lately and having nothing but liquid calories before the gym, I'd usually wake up and slam a good amount of water then I'll have 30g protein from whey and 30g carbs from simple sugars like honey, a can of soda or even straight table sugar, it's straight in the system and I can train within the next 20 minutes.

Anyone else do something like this and prefer it than eating solid meals like oats in the morning? I always feel tired as fuck and want to go back to bed after oats and eggs first thing.

I have simple sugars that act like this, first an explosion of energy and then a sharp drop in strength that I could not continue to train. I usually eat complex carbohydrates and peanut butter before training - this just gives energy for a long time.
Vegetable fats help me very well, as there is no feeling of heaviness and at the same time there is a lot of energy. Simple sugars and simple carbohydrates, a big burst of energy, and then the decline and want to sleep.
