sleep aid question ...

occasionally i take Xan forsleep ... well i took 2.5 last night at 9pm and i am still groggy at the moment and it 10:04 pm ... is there anything i can do to shake it off? i tried cofee, mount dew and sugar. thanks bros?

Xanax is the cocaine of benzos. It has a very short half life. Therefore, the effects of xanax wear off pretty quickly, unlike valium, which has a fairly long half life and can make you "groggy" for many hours after taking it. If you feel a little groggy after taking xanax, wait a couple hours.................that grogginess will wear off very quickly.

I don't know. That stuff had me feeling messed up for two days straight. It was weird as I was sleepy all day the next day and the day after and I was having trouble speaking LOL. Weird.
I won't mess with it again. Benadryl or some nyquil will put me out without those other effects.
