Slight gain of weight while on DNP?

I started my DNP 4 days ago, and today I bumped up to 400mg.

Anyways, I've read that you don't have to worry that much about a diet whilst on DNP, so I've been eating pretty well.

I notice when I wake up in the morning I'm down a LOT of weight, yet during the day I'm up a little weight.

Any idea on what that could be?

Pretty well or pretty stupid? You're taking an extremely potent compound with serious implications, it would probably make some level of sense to act like it and actually put some effort into your diet and maximize results, short and longterm.. else you'll just rebound afterwards if you continue to eat like shit.

Water retention happens to some to different degrees, but don't drink less or take diuretics to avert this

^^ This.. It's water retention.. I've read that you piss it all out within a few days of stopping..
 
DNP is notorious for water retention. Wait till a week or so after your last dose to assess your gains (losses) and keep drinking/getting in your electrolytes.

I have to agree with Noah if you want to make your time on DNP worthwhile keep your diet in check. You can get away with eating like shit but that's not the point. I would recommend 40-50% C 30% P 20% F macros at a moderate deficit to what your normal maintenance is. You will see very good results with this even at a low dosage. Take EC to help with cravings.

Okay, thanks guys I'll start actually going by guidelines.

Also, I'm not sure if this is DNP related, but my lower left back hurts when I stretch, or get out of bed. Could that be related to kidney issues?
 
When did it first occur? Is it recurring? Only left side, always? Consider sleeping position as well, if you always strain your left side or so.

Started within 2 days ago, I'm pretty sure its a sleeping issue, because this morning my left shoulder had a weird pain to it.

Any idea on when I'll be seeing weight loss? When does water retention usually slow down/stop?
 
Guess it would make sense to switch sleeping positions and see if it persists.

For water weight, I hear a lot of people report that it takes as long as a week after cessation, but fatfatfat knows better as he's run it. It sounds like you're a little concerned about it, but really there's no reason to be, it's temporary.. as temporary as temporary gets since you're taking DNP, the ultimate "I want results now" :cool:

Focus less on the number on the scale, the water retention which you can't control, and more on what you can -- your diet, I don't know how long you're running it for, but it shouldn't be too long.. might as well track everything and do your best to keep diet on point.

And please please please don't become discouraged by lack of weight loss and start progressively upping the dose. Dying isn't all that fun.

Yeah I know I've had a planned cycle for a month beforehand .

Day 1-3 200mg
Day 4-11(or 14) 400mg - One in morning around 10AM, other around 3PM

I'm taking powder form also.

I've done plenty of dieting in the past, and I'll definitely be watching more what I eat.
 
So how did the DNP work out over all? You should be finishing your cycle right around now. Im about to do a 10 day run myself, but sticking to 100mg (maybe 200mg after day 4)
